Cook Space, a Brooklyn-based Culinary Studio with a focus and mission on building Culinary Confidence, is looking for a dedicated marketing associate to join our small team to develop sales plan and strategy,  nurture partnerships, and be instrumental in the commercial success of our Life Beyond the Recipe vertical and fully realize the value of our Seize Your Days planner.

We are seeking someone with experience in developing business units, marketing plans, and that is passionate about the pursuit of one’s best self.  If the journey isn’t interesting to you — this job won’t be either!

Overview of Role:

Working with our Creative Director and Founder this person will:

  • Develop marketing strategy and sales plan for the Seize Your Days Planner including wholesale account development as well as off-site private events and workshops

  • Define KPIs and conversion metrics to track customer acquisition and retention specifically for planner sales and exposure and landing page optimization.

  • Thorough research of the planner market/industry and best practices development

  • Handle all customer inquiries, shipping, returns and follow up questions

  • Create marketing partnerships that support LBTR, the planner and/or Cook Space workshops and classes

  • Work cross functionally with creative and social media marketing:

    • Identify marketing and community segments to engage and nurture.

    • Create tools for accountability groups, check-ins and follow ups for future sales and referrals

    • Assist in the development and execution of engaged social media activity around how people are using the planner and seizing their days

    • Ensure the web-site is regularly updated with relevant content and up to date information and coverage.

    • Development of tools, exercises, new edits, iterations, and versions of future planners

  • Offer administrative support to the Creative Director, Founder and team at large with a focus on:

    • Editing and proofreading of all outward facing content to public audience and community members

    • Social media support

    • Website support

    • Organization and streamlining of archived reports and content

    • Research into (and application of, where relevant) best practices in communication strategies, industry trends and local networking opportunities.


  • 1 + years of experience in digital marketing, sales qualified lead management or paid acquisition

  • Experience with Shopify, Excel, Google Analytics or similar email service provider is preferred

  • A proven track record of resourcefulness, enthusiasm and accountability for the projects at hand. Positivity is a must (and a scrappy, can do attitude is ideal!)

This position is part time approximately 20-30 hours week to start with a two month trial period.

We see the planner as an innovative tool and new, fresh way of planning +  looking at our lives, time and how we spend it. It’s also a natural and authentic extension of our brand.  As we evaluate growth it has the potential to be a key driver in our financial success.
